Q: Why does it take 40 s to open my first window?
A: Screen('OpenWindow",0) normally takes a only few seconds (blue screen), but takes 40 s or so (black screen) to open the first window if Classic is running in the background. Turn off Classic. We don't yet know why Classic matters, and we hope to eliminate this effect in the future.
